August 9-19, 2012 / Yorkshire Dales – England – COMPLETED
The second stage of this trek takes participants along the Coast to Coast Path to the east and then south along the infamous Pennine Way. Students may continue from the first section of the path, while others may join for this section. Our focus on articulating and understanding each person’s core gift deepens with continuing participants mentoring and sharing their insights with those just starting out. We experience the exhilaration of taking both the literal and metaphorical next steps along “the path” – learning more about the world around us and the world within us!
August 9th – Thursday – Participants joining the trek depart for Manchester International Airport.
August 10th – Friday – Students departing return to Manchester for flights back to the US in the early afternoon. While those joining the group arrive and transport to Kirkby Stephen
This is a rest day for students participating continuing on the trek from the first week.
August 11th – Saturday – Thirteen hiking miles as we enter into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales to the small hamlet of Keld – originally a small Methodist colony.

August 13th - Monday – It’s 15 miles across the classic karst landscape of the Yorkshire Dales to the small hamlet of Horton-in-Ribblesdale.
